With its main office in Middletown, Delaware, the World Humanitarian Foundation (WHF) is a non-profit organisation that is officially recognised under U.S. tax code 501(c)(3). WHF was established in 2019 by a group of mental health advocates who saw a critical need for more accessible and comprehensive services in our communities. WHF was born out of a deep personal passion and a recognition of a critical unmet need in our community. In 2019, our founders, Mr/Mrs Asafu-Adjaye, witnessed first-hand the challenges faced by individuals struggling with mental health issues - the lack of accessible resources, the persistent stigma, and the overwhelming sense of isolation. Determined to make a difference, they gathered a small group of like-minded advocates and set out to establish a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting those in need. Our core mission is to “create a world where mental health is celebrated, supported, and accessible to all
Our dedicated staff is the heart and soul of WHF. Each team member brings unique skills, experiences, and perspectives, united by a shared passion for making a positive impact on the lives of our clients.
We believe that mental health advocacy is a collective effort. Whether you're interested in volunteering, donating, or simply learning more about our work, we welcome you to join us in our mission. Together, we can create a more inclusive and supportive community for all.
